It was a wonderful day when we met with our wonderful lecturer Miss Payal Dam on 13th Oct 2020. Miss Payal is a reputed Blogger and Fashionista quite popular on social media. She was there in the online classroom of Don Bosco Mirpara to share her experiences for the students’ benefit and ease of assumption about the future forthcoming career adventure.
She had a course of interaction with all the present students of Accenture Phase 11 Batch 3 and was very glad to spend time with all of them. She started with her own story of the struggle and disappointments she faced in this new world of Social Media Infusion. She mentioned that she had a hard time growing in this platform because she had no mentor, unlike our students who are being well trained about the Pros and Cons of this Social Media Management. She said only two thing matters the most here i.e. “Content is the king“ and “Patience is the key”. She said that she is still struggling and trying to spread her work across all platforms. She has a channel in Spotify where she does podcasts, she has her own website where she blogs about fashion and travel. She also taught them about tips and tricks of video editing and blogging and students were very much enjoying while learning these new things.
All of the students were happy as they could connect to her due to her simple way of talking and she was able to answer all of their questions. She promised them that she will help them once again whenever needed. All thanked her and wished her well after the session.
