Batch 4,5 AND 6 Induction
22 Aug 2022
The inauguration and induction program for Accenture-12, Batch-4, 5, and 6, which commenced on 22nd August, proved to be an insightful and enriching experience for the new trainees. Guided by Ms. Juliana, a skilled trainer in Communicative English and ITE, the program aimed to warmly welcome the trainees while equipping them with essential skills and knowledge for their journey ahead.
Ms. Juliana's approach was multifaceted and engaging. On the first day, she familiarized the trainees with the institution's various areas and facilitated an ice-breaking session that included self-introductions. She showcased the Don Bosco SERI video and narrated the story of St. John Bosco through a movie, connecting the trainees with the rich legacy of the Don Bosco Tech Society. Additionally, she introduced them to employability skills using presentations and videos, while also acquainting them with the institution's rules, regulations, and routines.
The program continued to captivate the trainees on Day-2, with Ms. Juliana conducting engaging activities like MILY (Make It Like Yesterday) with a humorous twist, a quiz on St. John Bosco, and discussions on grooming and communication skills. Through group discussions on communication barriers and solutions, the trainees actively participated, enhancing their understanding and enjoyment.
Day-3 saw Ms. Juliana integrating fun with learning by teaching an action song and revising previous lessons through interactive quizzes. Sessions on goal setting, time management, and success stories of past trainees added depth to the program, inspiring the trainees towards personal and professional growth.
Day-4 focused on attitude development, providing trainees with a platform to showcase their talents and overcome stage fear by performing different roles. The introduction to their duties for the upcoming Inauguration Program instilled a sense of responsibility and dedication, motivating them to excel in their assigned tasks.
Finally, on Day-5, the trainees transitioned into their domain classes with introductory sessions led by their respective trainers, setting the stage for focused learning and skill development.
Overall, the induction program not only fostered interaction and comfort among the trainees but also instilled valuable insights, knowledge, and a sense of purpose as they embarked on their educational journey at Don Bosco Tech Society.
