On August 13, 2022, Don Bosco Tech Mirpara Centre orchestrated a vibrant Independence Day program for the Accenture-12 Batch-4, 5 & 6 trainees. The event commenced at 10:30 am and took place virtually via Google Meet, marking a digital celebration of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.'
Ms. Juliana, an adept Communicative & English ITE, warmly welcomed the trainees, setting the tone for a day of commemoration and learning. To enlighten the gathering, Mr. Saugata, a seasoned Web Developer trainer, delivered an inspiring speech on the significance of Independence Day. The trainees were captivated by his words, fostering a sense of patriotism and pride.
Following Mr. Saugata's speech, Mr. Bivas, a trainee specializing in Electrical Vehicle Charging Station Technician, delivered a stirring Bengali speech, adding a regional touch to the celebration. The event continued with a soul-stirring rendition of the patriotic song 'Mera Mulk Mera Desh' by Ms. Juliana, evoking sentiments of love for the nation.
The program took an interactive turn with an engaging quiz centered around the historical background of India's freedom fighters. This quiz, conducted online, saw enthusiastic participation from all trainees. Excitement soared as correct answers were rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 5 each, spurring the trainees to showcase their knowledge and quick thinking. Ms. Ankita Chowdhury emerged as the top performer, securing nine correct answers, followed by Ms. Prianka Giri, Mr. Subhodip, and Mr. Rjat, showcasing the competitive spirit and eagerness to learn among the participants.
Post-quiz, the winners were felicitated, and the trainees engaged in a thought-provoking discussion prompted by Ms. Juliana's question: 'How can they contribute to the nation's development?' Their responses reflected a commitment to self-improvement and mutual support, emphasizing skill development and collaboration.
Additionally, trainees who showcased their artistic talents through drawings and symbolic representations of 'gulal' shared their creations, adding a creative dimension to the program. The collective enthusiasm and pledge to participate in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative further underscored the success of the celebration, fostering a sense of unity and pride among the trainees as they vowed to commemorate Independence Day with fervor and dedication.
