Independence day celebration 2026

Don Bosco Tech Siliguri Centre organised a small Independence Programme on 15 August 2026 for the students of the Learning to Earning project, Batch 3 and Batch 4, Guest Service Associate (F&B).
The programme began with a drawing competition. The students took part with great interest and expressed their ideas about India, freedom and patriotism through their drawings.
After the drawing competition, a short programme was held. Some students sang beautiful songs about freedom and India, while others performed dances. A few students also wrote their own poems on the theme of Independence and India and confidently recited them in front of everyone.
The programme was simple but very fruitful. It gave the students an opportunity to show their creativity, talent and love for the country. The celebration ended with a feeling of unity, patriotism and pride in our nation.
Overall, the programme was enjoyed by all the students and staff and made the Independence celebration special at the Don Bosco Tech Siliguri Centre.
