03 Mar 2020
On March 3, 2020, a team from ITC visited the Don Bosco Tech Society (Maligaon). A-two-member committee comprised of Mr. Dinesh Agarwal (ITC Official) and Dr. Piyali Ghosh (Executive, CSR). They were warmly welcomed by Fr. Bhaskar Raj Chintamalla (Rector, Don Bosco Technical School, Maligaon). The trainees welcomed the officials with an Assamese Gamusha (Traditional- handwoven towel) while they sang a welcome song too.
Mr. Dinesh Agarwal interacted with the automobile trainees in the classroom. While the face to face interaction was on he briefed the trainees on one of the vital aspects of Life Skills, ‘goal setting. It is he, Mr. Dinesh, who exulted to the trainees to be a person of integrity. “Goals are like a road map; it helps us to reach the desired destination,” said Mr. Dinesh. “Goals provide us with the right direction we need to reach at some point in time. Being patience and perseverance is the only key to success. There is a saying ‘plan to fail or fail to plan’. So also our destiny depends on meticulous planning and working towards it, said Mr. Dinesh. He added, our valuable asset and skills in life is our ability to learn and to apply this knowledge. No matter what our goals are, work toward it. One day you will succeed.”
Having spent fruitful time with the trainees, Mr. Dinesh and Dr. Piyali inspected the facilities we are provided with. Post-inspection from the feedback we got, it made us understand that they were impressed to see the students and the institution premises is well maintained as per the industry protocol.
