On October 11th, 2019, the B12 Hospitality (Food and Beverage Steward) batch of SHCDM from Bosco Pnar, Jowai embarked on an enlightening industrial visit and guest lecture at Tyrchi Inn, Khliehtyrshi.
Guided by Mr. Engelbert, the domain trainer, the trainees delved into the intricacies of the hospitality industry, exploring various departments including Food and Beverage Service, Housekeeping, Front Office, and Food and Beverage Production. The visit offered a comprehensive view of operations, from banquet hall arrangements to menu planning and table setups.
Although Mr. Uttam, the Manager, was occupied with outdoor catering orders and a crucial meeting with Government officials, his absence did not dampen the enthusiasm of the experience. Upon their return, Mr. Uttam extended his apologies and conveyed his wishes for the trainees' bright future endeavors.
Reflecting on their visit, the trainees shared newfound insights and enthusiasm for the hospitality domain. The hands-on experience at Tyrchi Inn not only broadened their understanding of industry operations but also instilled a sense of readiness for the future.
