“Awareness program about HIV/AIDS and Gender Equality”

Don Bosco Tech-Hospet had conducted an awareness program on “HIV/AIDS, and Gender Equality” for the Electrical and BPO trainees on 14th October 2019, under the guidance of Fr. Siju (Principal of Don Bosco Professional Academy Hopset). Sis. Marlina, and Mrs. Savithri (The staff members of Social work department Don Bosco Hospete) were invited as facilitator for the day.

The program started with a prayer song by the trainees, later the honourable guests inaugurated the programme by watering the plant. Mr. Dharmendra (Trainer, Electrical) welcomed all the guests.

Mrs. Savithri explained about gender equality and how it is helpful to the trainees. The session went nicely and trainees were interested in the topic and asked questions. There was a nice interaction between the trainees and Mrs Savithri and the trainees participated well.

Sister Celina explained about HIV/AIDS, it's causes and how it can be prevented. This session is especially helpful to spread awareness among the trainees about HIV/AIDS, which will be useful for their future life.

Finally Mr. Manjunath (Trainer, CE&ITES) delivered vote of thanks speech to the guests and the session was concluded with lots of information about the topics, trainees were very happy about the sessions .
