Don Bosco Tech-Hospet organized a "placement orientation" session for its current batch of trainees on August 06, 2020, through the Google Meet application. Mr. Henry Joseph (Karnataka, State coordinator), Ms. Nithya Rebello (Karnataka state MIS & Finance coordinator), the staff members, and 22 trainees participated in the session. The session started at 10 AM and a warm welcome was accorded by Mr. Manjunatha Hebbal (Trainer- CE & ITES). The main purpose of the placement orientation is to provide a better understanding of employment for a better career.

Mr. Henry Joseph addressed the meeting and spoke about workplace readiness. He started the session with a question about what is the purpose of education and received an answer from the trainees. He gave an orientation about employability skills, body language, positive and negative body gestures, workplace ethics and behaviors, attitude and its types, the importance of team & time management, email and interview etiquette, etc. He eventually suggested trainees stay active and work well for the future and wish them a bright future with a good career.

The session was interactive and informative, and it went well with the active participation of the trainees and concluded at 11:30 PM with a formal vote of thanks by Mr. Nizamuddin (Trainer- Electrical).
