On September 13, 2021, Don Bosco Tech joined forces with the Drug De-addiction Center Baramulla to host a transformative drug de-addiction workshop. From 11:15 AM until 2 PM, participants delved into a profound exploration of the perils of drug misuse among the youth, while also shining a spotlight on the crucial issue of mental health.

Center Manager Mr. Aijaz Ahmad kickstarted the event with an impassioned speech, setting the stage for an engaging dialogue. Trainees, staff members, and esteemed guests Aarifa and Seema, both counselors, enriched the discourse with their invaluable insights. Their individual sessions with the trainees not only offered practical guidance but also fostered a safe space for personal reflection and growth.

Reflecting on the experience, the guest counselors remarked, "In our extensive experience conducting workshops across District Baramulla, this event stood out. The genuine respect exhibited by the staff and the unwavering patience demonstrated by the trainees truly elevated the workshop to a whole new level."

By the event's conclusion, both facilitators and participants alike departed with a sense of fulfillment and empowerment. It was not merely a workshop but a catalyst for meaningful change, fostering understanding, resilience, and a renewed commitment to collective well-being.
