Parent-Teacher meetings hold a special significance in the journey of our children's education and growth. On the morning of July 23, 2021, at precisely 11:00 am, a virtual gathering was convened via Google Meet, hosted by Mr. Subhankar Naskar, the Center Coordinator of DB Tech Monsada Center. As the meeting commenced, Mr. Naskar extended a warm welcome to all parents on behalf of the DB Tech Monsada Center.
In his opening address, Mr. Naskar shed light on the profound mission of Don Bosco, an international organization committed to serving young people, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds. He emphasized the core principles guiding Don Bosco Tech and its significant contributions to skill development, CSR partnerships, and livelihood initiatives. With pride, Mr. Naskar shared the remarkable reach of Don Bosco Tech, spanning 29 states and aiming to train 20 lakh youngsters by 2022.
Acknowledging the paradox of growing employment opportunities amidst rising unemployment, Mr. Naskar articulated the vital role of Don Bosco Tech in bridging the gap between skills and employment. Through a network of skill training centers across India, Don Bosco Tech strives to empower marginalized youth, providing them with essential skills for sustainable livelihoods.
Parents were urged to seize the opportunity for their children, understanding the transformative impact of skill-based training on their future prospects. Mr. Naskar emphasized the importance of parental support and understanding, advocating for a friendly and motivational approach towards guiding their children. He highlighted success stories, including that of a once-average student now supporting his family through skills acquired at DB Tech Monsada.
As the session drew to a close, Mr. Naskar expressed gratitude to the parents for their invaluable time and participation. The event concluded with a poignant reminder of the sacrifices parents make for their children's bright futures, coupled with a heartfelt acknowledgment of parental love and responsibility.
The event served not only as a platform for information-sharing but also as a beacon of hope and empowerment for both parents and their children. On this day, the bonds between home and educational institution were strengthened, laying the foundation for a collaborative journey towards success.
