Sports play a crucial role in maintaining both physical fitness and mental well-being. Our center recently organized an exciting sports event, the 'Football Competition,' which took place on November 30th, 2019, at the Don Bosco English Medium School Ground. This highly anticipated match was contested between the Assistant Electrical students and the FnB Steward students, beginning at approximately 3:35 p.m.

The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as students gathered at the playground, accompanied by three trainers. FnB Trainer Sir Biplab Majumdar served as the main referee, while Assistant Electrical Trainer Sir Subhankar Naskar and Communicative & ITes Trainer provided their expertise as line judges. The event was graced by the presence of Fr. Johney, who attended as the chief guest.

The competition followed a format of 20-5-20 minutes. The match was intensely competitive, showcasing the skills and teamwork of both sides. Ultimately, the Assistant Electrical students emerged victorious with a score of 2-1. Their triumph was celebrated with a Rs. 500 cash prize awarded by Fr. Johney.

The event concluded around 4:20 p.m., and by 4:30 p.m., everyone had returned to the DB Tech Ground. This football competition was more than just a game; it was a profound learning experience. Students came to understand the significance of teamwork, mutual trust within a team, and the discipline necessary in a professional environment. The positive energy and happiness radiated by the participants at the end of the event were a testament to the enriching and memorable experience it provided.
