Parents' and Graduation Day at DB Tech Monsada
16 Dec 2019
On December 16, 2019, Don Bosco Tech Monsada celebrated their Graduation Day at the Auditorium Hall, marking a significant milestone for the students. The program commenced at 11:00 a.m., with students having gathered before 10:00 a.m. to decorate the hall beautifully. Distinguished guests, including Fr. Johny, Fr. Thomas, Sister Nomita, and Sister Agnes, graced the occasion with their presence.
The celebration began with a Welcoming Song, followed by a Prayer Song and the National Anthem, setting a solemn yet joyous tone for the event. The program featured a variety of performances, including poem recitations, solo and group songs, dances, and a yoga demonstration. One of the highlights was a moving song about parents, performed by a student, which deeply touched the guests, prompting them to request copies of the lyrics.
Graduation Day holds profound significance for many. It is more than just a ceremony; it is a rite of passage that symbolizes the transition from one phase of life to a more mature stage. This event marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, whether it involves continuing education or entering the workforce. Graduations are pivotal moments that encapsulate achievements and foster reflections on past experiences while inspiring aspirations for the future. They serve as a connective thread, linking different life stages with shared memories and accomplishments.
Parents were delighted to witness their children’s performances, which filled the hall with pride and joy. Following the performances, a parents’ counseling session was held, where parents engaged in meaningful discussions with teachers, receiving positive feedback about their children’s progress. The event concluded with the distribution of tiffins among the parents, wrapping up at around 2:30 p.m.
This memorable day not only celebrated the students' achievements but also highlighted the importance of support from family and educators in shaping their futures.
