On March 6, 2024, Don Bosco Tech Bohri Centre commemorated International Women's Day with a series of impactful activities and speeches that underscored the crucial role and remarkable achievements of women in society. The day began with a poignant prayer service led by students, symbolizing the profound significance of women and their multifaceted contributions across various domains of life. A focal point of the celebration was a compelling debate competition centered around the life of 'Jhansi Ki Rani Lakshmi Bai.' This competition was designed to impart an inspirational message to today's women, urging them to embody virtues such as courage, compassion, and self-reliance. The enactment of the debate vividly portrayed Rani Lakshmi Bai's extraordinary journey and her indelible impact on India's struggle for independence.
Amit Kumar, a member of the Domain Sales Associate Batch 10, delivered an enlightening speech highlighting the importance of Women's Day. He eloquently discussed the contemporary challenges faced by women and emphasized the imperative of gender equality. His speech aimed to foster awareness about the ongoing struggles of women and motivate students to contribute to creating a more inclusive society.
