On October 20, 2024, Don Bosco Tech Society took to the streets of Delhi to support a mission close to our hearts: empowering underprivileged youth through skill development. The Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon served as a remarkable platform for us to raise awareness and support for our cause, and the energy was truly inspiring as our dedicated team of 54 staff members joined thousands of other runners, all with a unified goal—to make a positive impact.
The marathon wasn’t just a test of endurance; it was a testament to our collective commitment to creating opportunities for youth who face financial and social challenges. Our team ran to shine a spotlight on the urgent need for accessible skill training, which can open doors to sustainable livelihoods for underprivileged young people across India.

Our staff members, representing Don Bosco Tech Society’s unwavering dedication, wore their cause on their sleeves—quite literally. Braving the early morning chill, they lined up with the crowd, fueled by a passion to transform lives. As they crossed the finish line, each step echoed our organization’s message of empowerment and hope for a brighter future.

This marathon event was not only about physical endurance; it was a platform to rally support for our initiatives. Since 2006, Don Bosco Tech Society has trained over 465,000 youth, equipping them with skills that make a real difference in their lives and communities. The Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon gave us an opportunity to reach out to supporters, donors, and our partners inviting them to join us in our mission to create a skilled, employable youth force.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us so far. Your contributions help us provide resources, training, and guidance to youth in need. Together, let’s continue this journey of empowering young individuals and shaping their futures. Your continued support fuels our journey as we work to close the skills gap and create a more inclusive workforce.
