On Friday, 23rd May 2025, Don Bosco Tech Manikandam hosted a vibrant and memorable dual celebration, marking the inauguration of the Web Development Batch B4 (250201) and bidding farewell to the esteemed Centre In-Charge, Fr. Britto Francis SDB. The event, held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, blended academic inspiration with heartfelt appreciation, creating a truly memorable experience for the DB Tech community.

The program commenced with the rendition of Thamil Thai Vazhthu, invoking a sense of pride and unity among the attendees. Ms. Pavithra set an engaging tone with the Welcome Speech, emphasizing the values of learning, dedication, and community spirit. Adding a touch of elegance, Sharmila and Christina performed a graceful Welcome Dance, charming the audience with their expressive storytelling.

The traditional Lighting of the Lamp ceremony followed, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the illumination of knowledge as the students embarked on a new academic journey. Fr. Britto Francis SDB, the Centre Head, formally inaugurated the batch and shared an inspiring message.
