Don Bosco Tech – Cox Colony, Jharsuguda successfully organized a guest lecture for the trainees of Batch-01, IT Customer Care Executive on 14th July 2026. The session aimed to provide trainees with practical industry exposure and enhance their understanding of the roles, responsibilities, and career opportunities in the customer care sector.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Sangam Sharma, Domain Trainer, who introduced the guest speaker, Mr. Eliya Khara, Operations Manager, M/s Sri Maruti Fuels, Jharsuguda. He highlighted the importance of industry interaction in preparing trainees for the professional world.

During the session, Mr. Eliya Khara emphasized that an IT Customer Care Executive plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving, patience, and professionalism. He explained the key responsibilities of the role, including handling customer queries through phone calls, emails, and live chat, resolving and documenting technical issues, managing service requests using ticketing systems, maintaining customer records, and educating customers on product usage and best practices.

Sharing his own professional journey, Mr. Eliya inspired the trainees by explaining how dedication, continuous learning, discipline, and perseverance helped him progress from an entry-level employee to an Operations Manager. He encouraged trainees to remain committed to skill development, embrace challenges with confidence, and maintain a positive attitude throughout their careers.

The session was highly interactive, with trainees actively participating in discussions and seeking guidance on industry expectations, workplace practices, and career growth. The interaction helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world professional requirements.
