A Parents’ Meeting for Digital Mitra – Batch 2, Accenture Innovative was organized at Don Bosco Tech, Cox Colony, on 10 August 2026. The meeting was conducted at the completion stage of the training with the objective of updating parents about the trainees’ progress, training outcomes, and placement opportunities.
The meeting began with a warm welcome by Mr. Sarada Prasad Nanda, who highlighted the important role of parents in encouraging and supporting their children in building their careers. He appreciated the efforts of the trainees during the training and encouraged parents to continue supporting them as they move towards employment opportunities.
Following the welcome, Mr. Sangam Sharma addressed the gathering and spoke about the mission of Don Bosco Tech to empower unemployed and underprivileged youth through skill development and employment-oriented training. He highlighted the importance of vocational training in developing practical skills, confidence, and readiness for employment.
Sr. Prava Manjula Tete also addressed the parents and highlighted the contribution of Don Bosco Tech towards skill development, education, and employment opportunities for young people. She appreciated the efforts of the trainees and encouraged parents to motivate them to make effective use of the skills and opportunities gained through the training.
The meeting provided an opportunity for parents and trainers to interact and discuss the trainees’ progress, training completion, and future career plans. The trainers shared information about the skills acquired by the trainees, assessment, and available placement opportunities. The importance of actively participating in the placement process, attending interviews, and being open to suitable job opportunities was also discussed. Parents were encouraged to continue motivating and supporting their children in their career journey.
The parents expressed their appreciation for the training provided by Don Bosco Tech and shared positive feedback about the development of their children during the training period. They also expressed their willingness to support the trainees in exploring suitable employment opportunities.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Anisha Nag on behalf of the Don Bosco Tech Society. She expressed sincere gratitude to the parents, trainees, trainers, and everyone who contributed to the successful completion of the training and organization of the meeting.
Overall, the Parents’ Meeting was a meaningful initiative that strengthened cooperation among parents, trainees, and trainers and encouraged the trainees to move forward towards employment and a successful career.
