Clara Niketan - SMO trainees visited SODANI FASHION POINT SHORE on 29th Jan.2020. Mr. Anurag Sodani the owner of the company explained different types of machine-like Lock stitch machine, chain stitch, overlock, cover stitch, blind stitch, button attach, buttonhole, bar tack, zigzag, feed of the arm, AMS pattern sewing, automatic pocket welting, and the procedure to maintain it. Steam iron & Cutting machine are the new things that the trainees got to know about it.
All the trainees went round the factory looked at every place very main manufacturing unit. Trainees were not only glad to see the manufacturing of a variety of dresses but grasped a fair amount of information about the entire process.
Overall, the visit helped trainees develop their linguistic, logical, naturalistic as well as inter and intrapersonal skills. Field visits help trainees to broaden their educational experience expose them to a world outside their own, help them gain a deeper understanding through observation as well as make them more tolerant and understanding.
