Developing an operation-centric approach among the employees

To have better coordination between the center and the National Team, the team of employees from the National Office visited Bhopal center as part of the Employee Engagement program on August 23, 2019. The team consists of Mr. Sushil Hansdak (Asst Manager, Finance Department), Mr. Philip Daniel (Asst. Manager – Content and Curriculum Department), Ms. Alka (Executive, MIS Department), Mr. Sudhir Tirkey (Personal Assistant to ED) and Ms. Khushbu Sharma (Intern) were assigned to visit Claraniketan Center in Bhopal. The team from the National Office was welcomed by Sr. Sarita (State Coordinator, Madhya Pradesh).
A small cultural program was organized by the Don Bosco Tech (Claraniketan) staff and trainees to welcome the team. After the cultural program, the National Team was felicitated with flowers. After the performances, Sr. Sarita gave a message on the vision and mission of Don Bosco Tech. The Alumni’s present there also shared their testimony on how their lives have changed after completing their course from Don Bosco Tech. The program concluded with Mr. Sushil’s motivational message to the students and the Don Bosco Tech staff to give their best in whatever they do.
After the program, the team had a small meeting with Sr. Sarita in which she shared about the work done in the center. She also mentioned the challenges faced by the trainers, state and center team during the pre-training (Mobilization) and post-training (Placements). Trainers also shared their issues and challenges they face at the center level and also shared the solutions for it. The national team also gave a few suggestions to resolve small issues at the center level and the ways to maintain project deliverables. Later The team visited each classroom and practical lab. They also had one to one interaction with the students and trainers. They observed that the classrooms, labs and training equipment were neat and clean and students were disciplined.
After meeting, all the team members individually conducted some Life Skill activities for the students for life learning and refreshing them. The students actively participated and enjoyed it. The center and national team were happy with this employee engagement program as it gave them the opportunity to come across the challenges at the center level and gave them a better understanding of working together.
