The Parents Meeting was held on the 18th of December 2020. 17 parents were present online for the second Parents meeting.  Mr. Prem Sagar Ekka, support domain trainer of Golaghat center introduced himself and the staff. He briefed about Don Bosco, Don Bosco Tech, and its Mission. During the meeting, he shared the nature of the work demand and the job profile of companies where candidates were placed. During the meeting, trainers shared about training and placement assistance provided by Don Bosco Tech. Points shared during the placement orientation

The training institute will facilitate and assist the candidate for job interviews and collection of job offer letters towards the end of the training. Candidate has to bear all expenses such as travel fare, food, and other expenses during their journey to the workplace. Training institute will facilitate travel arrangements like booking tickets to the destination. The candidate has to take own responsibility for her safety during the journey and at the workplace. The candidate has to take care of their safety and health on joining the company and thereafter.   Upon joining the company, candidates shall abide by the HR policy of the company and the terms and conditions mentioned in the appointment letter.

All issues concerning job, salary, accommodation, safety, etc. should be addressed to HR of the company. The training institute will not be responsible for any situation arising out of unforeseen circumstances. Once you complete the joining formalities with the company you become the employee of that company. The institute will not entertain requests/demands from you or on your behalf. Institute will not address your concerns as an employee. The Centre will not be held responsible if you get sick at the workplace. In any unforeseen situation like covid-19, the institute is not responsible for decisions you take which may affect the continuity of job, salary, accommodation, and personal safety. Institute will not entertain requests/demands from you or on your behalf.

Once you join the company, it is between you and the company. Don Bosco Tech will not continue addressing your concerns. The candidate has to follow the code of conduct when employed by the company. The candidate should learn to adapt to the environment of the place he/she is placed in and take care of the dress code for personal safety at work or on off days. Should not mingle with strangers and indulge in intoxicating substances, avoid going out late at night outings and parties with unknown people. The team explained about the final assessment to be conducted online and certification on completion of the course. Parents were happy and there were no queries from their side.
