Phase 11 - B1 Guest Lecture 2 in Blood Bank Technician

To acquire more knowledge about the particular domain of Blood Bank Technician, the team of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh centre has conducted a guest lecture for the trainees on 6th February 2021. It was a day filled with enlightenment by the trainees to get the practical session about their particular domain. It was a great opportunity for them to have an experienced session.
Rev. Mr.K. Samson MS B.Ed Chemistry, the dynamic leader of the Microbiology department at the blood bank was invited as a guest lecturer for the trainees to distribute his knowledge to the trainees by presenting the sessions regarding the specified way of conducting the norms towards the patients or donors.
He started the session by explaining the precautions to be prevented in the area of a blood bank and how to start the work procedures. He has spoken about the importance of arranging an appropriate site for obtaining Blood Samples. Then he moved into the topic of the mode of interdicting the intravenous catheter into the human body. He introduced the practical session to the trainees in the blood bank.

Cleansing the Site
It was a very useful session for the trainees to have practical knowledge. They had experienced all the topics which were briefed by the guest. They got the real knowledge about the patient's preparation before interdicting the catheter, positioning of the patient, and other formalities, procedures to follow at the workplace. They have gained knowledge of how to use sites for obtaining Blood Samples.
At the end of the session, a quiz competition was conducted for all the trainees in the class by Mr.K.Samson.
