REPORT ON WORLD WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION

DBTech Guntur organized the World Women’s Day celebration at JMJ Social Service Society, Nallapadu on 08/03/2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and staff members. The programme was conducted to honour women, create awareness about women’s rights, and appreciate the contribution of women in society.

The programme began with a prayer song followed by the welcoming of the Chief Guest, Advocate Rev. Sr. Saritha. The gathering warmly welcomed the guest with flowers and applause. The event was attended by students, faculty members, and staff of DBTech Guntur.

Advocate Rev. Sr. Saritha addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech on the importance of women’s empowerment, education, self-confidence, and equality. She encouraged the students, especially girls, to be courageous, independent, and responsible citizens. She also highlighted the role of women in building strong families and a progressive society. Her motivational words inspired everyone present at the programme.

Various activities and cultural programmes were organized by the students to mark the occasion. The students performed songs, dances, speeches, and skits related to women’s achievements and social awareness. The performances were appreciated by all and added joy and meaning to the celebration.

The staff members also shared valuable thoughts about the significance of World Women’s Day and motivated the students to respect and support women in every aspect of life. The programme created awareness about gender equality and encouraged everyone to work together for a better future for women.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, management, staff, and students for making the programme successful. The celebration ended on a joyful note with group photographs and refreshments.
