On September 29th, Don Bosco Professional Academy, Hospet, marked a momentous occasion with the inauguration of its 50th and 51st batches, a significant milestone in the institution’s rich history. The event was graced by a special guest, Fr. Fabio Attard, Special Representative of the Rector Major from Rome, whose presence added a global significance to the celebration.
The day’s proceedings began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the institution’s enduring commitment to knowledge and enlightenment. Fr. Roshan Desa, Rector and Manager of the Don Bosco Salesian Society, Hospet, extended a heartfelt welcome to the audience, setting a tone of warmth and unity. Students of Don Bosco Tech showcased their extraordinary talent, mesmerizing the attendees with a classical dance performance that reflected the deep cultural heritage of the region. The performance was followed by a moving mime act, poignantly depicting the universal theme of a mother’s love, leaving a lasting emotional impact on all.
Fr. Fabio Attard delivered a powerful and thought-provoking address, centering his message on the transformative power of education. "Education is not merely about imparting information, but about shaping the mind and heart," he emphasized, drawing attention to the holistic approach that Don Bosco Academy champions. The program further honored its esteemed guests, which included Fr. John MA, Administrator of Don Bosco Hospet; Fr. Maria Praveen, Principal of Don Bosco School, Hospet; Fr.
