On 20th July 2026, Don Bosco Tech – Cox Colony, Jharsuguda, organized a Guest Lecture for the Digital Mitra Batch-01 trainees as part of the Accenture Innovative 2026–27 programme. The session was conducted by Mr. Sambu Nag, Operation Executive, Global Marketing Solutions, who shared valuable knowledge about the digital skills required in today's workplace.

The main objective of the session was to help trainees understand the importance of digital skills, career opportunities, and the latest technologies used in different industries.

During the session, Mr. Nag explained the importance of Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and how these tools are used for preparing documents, managing data, and creating presentations in the workplace.

He also discussed the effective use of the Internet for communication, research, online learning, and professional development. He encouraged trainees to use the internet safely and responsibly.

A key highlight of the session was the introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI). Mr. Nag explained how AI tools can improve productivity, support content creation, analyse data, and assist in daily work. He also emphasized the importance of using AI responsibly and ethically.

The speaker guided trainees on developing essential workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, and continuous learning. He encouraged them to keep upgrading their skills to meet changing industry requirements.
