The team of Don Bosco Tech Guntur, Andhra Pradesh center has organized a Guest Lecture for BPO trainees on 8th February 2020 to give more extra knowledge about the workplace. Mr.Venkat Human Resource Manager at Apex Solutions Limited in Virat Crane Buildings Vengalayapalem Guntur invited as a guest lecturer to the center to give a lecture on the topic. Guntur DB Tech center is supported by Accenture and is locally monitored by the sisters of JMJ Social Service Society. (Sr. Denin). The youth of Guntur are extremely privileged with the execution of BPO with the assistance of Accenture. Many not-so-fortunate youths registered their names and attended classes regularly. Their need to attain placement turned them to be more interested in the classroom sessions. Understating the need for organizing the Guest lecturers and other important events in the center, the team called the guest to interpret and comprehend the workplace necessities and work description.

The session had begun with a welcome song addressing the guest. Mr.Venkat was surprised by the unexpected greet and started interacting with the students. He soon initiated the speech with a brief definition of B.P.O and its Management, the various departments that are concerned with it, Significance of production and dining are made very vivid. Apart from this, the major issue that’s been discussed is the behavior with guests, the need for patience, serving techniques, etc are been taught to the students. Later he has suggested a few tips which reduce the work burden. He advised the students to treat the guest with utmost care and guide them in every step irrespective of the tips they offer.

In the end, He described but the various levels of hierarchy that are existing in the BPO industry and the shortest path to achieving better positions soon. That was a very motivating and encouraging session for the students. There was an interactive session held where the students put their queries in front of Mr.Venkat sir who solved each one of them with a keen reference. He has commented on Don Bosco Tech saying “Providing livelihood training not only helps the student alone but the entire would be benefited once the trainee gets into work. It is an honor to interact with these students who are directly benefiting under Don Bosco and my contribution towards this is only a drop in an ocean but then, I am glad to be a part of it.”
