Batch inauguration and parents meeting

On September 5, 2020, Don Bosco Tech Sulthan Bathery conducted its inaugural parents' meeting and batch inauguration for the Domestic Electrical Solutions course. The event was held online, marking a significant milestone for both the institution and the participants.
The meeting saw enthusiastic participation from the state team, with Mr. Digit Jose and Ms. Anila Samson in attendance. Representing the center were Br. Philip, Mr. Vinod, and Mrs. Jincy. A total of twenty-three trainees and their parents joined the virtual event, reflecting the strong interest and commitment to this training program.
Mr. Vinod, the trainer, opened the session with a detailed presentation about Don Bosco Tech's skill training programs and the network of Don Bosco Tech institutions. He emphasized the holistic approach of the training, which not only equips trainees with technical skills but also prepares them for the job market. He welcomed all participants, setting a positive tone for the meeting.
Br. Philip, the head of the center, delivered the presidential address. He shared inspiring stories about Don Bosco's childhood and his vision for empowering youth through education and skill development. Br. Philip also highlighted the global reach of Don Bosco institutions, which now operate in over 130 countries. He explained that these institutions are led by dedicated teams who continue Don Bosco's mission of youth upliftment and education.
The batch was officially inaugurated by Mr. Digit Jose, the state finance head, who spoke about the importance of regular attendance and active participation in online classes. He outlined the benefits of the training, including improved employability and job opportunities in the electrical sector.
Ms. Anila Samson brought a touch of grace to the ceremony with her warm greetings, while Mrs. Jincy concluded the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks. The highlight of the inauguration was the symbolic lighting of the lamp, signifying the beginning of a new journey for the trainees.
