Parents Meet of retail Batch
10 Jan 2020
On January 10th, 2020, Don Bosco Tech Sultan Bathery hosted the parents' meeting for the 10th Retail Management batch, a pivotal event aimed at bridging the gap between trainers and the parents of our trainees. We are thrilled to report that 25 parents attended the meeting, a testament to their commitment to their children's future, with the remaining trainees' parents promising to attend in the coming days.
The meeting commenced promptly at 10:30 AM with a warm welcome by Mrs. Jincy P A, the ITeS Trainer. A serene silent prayer set a reflective tone for the gathering. Brother Philip, the Principal of DB Tech Sultan Bathery, officially inaugurated the event. In his speech, Brother Philip introduced the diverse team of domain trainers and elaborated on the comprehensive DB Tech process designed to empower unemployed youth with valuable skills.
Following the inaugural ceremony, Mr. Sarath B Kumar addressed the parents, emphasizing the importance of discipline, good behavior, and adherence to rules and regulations. He highlighted concerns relevant to today's youth, such as the responsible use of mobile phones, appropriate dressing, and the impact of contemporary hairstyles.
Mr. Sunil Paul, the Automobile Trainer, further enriched the discussion by shedding light on the evolving behaviors of students and the critical role parents play in guiding and supporting their children through these changes.
A key segment of the meeting was the interaction between the parents and the Retail Management trainer, Mrs. Jincy P A, along with Brother Philip. The feedback from parents was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting their satisfaction with the training center and the dedicated efforts of the trainers.
The event concluded on a convivial note with a cup of tea, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose among the attendees. The meeting was not only a success in terms of attendance but also in reinforcing the collaborative efforts between the institution and parents in shaping the future of the students.
