Batch Inauguration Programme Cum Women's Day Celebration

Don Bosco Tech-Gulbarga has hosted the "Batch Inauguration Programme" cum “International Women’s Day" celebration on 9 March 2021. Mrs Ajnum Thabbasun (Thahasildar, Kamalapur Taluk, Gulbarga) was the inaugurator of the programme, Mrs Kavitha Patil (Principal of Pillu Homi Irani college Gulbarga) was the president of the programme. Mrs Geetha Sajjan Shetty (Member of JJB Act), and Fr. Saji George (Director of Don Bosco PYAR) was the Chief Guest of the Programme. The staff of Don Bosco PYAR and trainees participated in the programme.
The programme started with a prayer song by trainees. Mr Avinash (Trainer- CE & ITES) welcomed the guests. The programme was inaugurated through watering the plant by all the dignitaries.
Fr. Saji George addressed the gathering and spoke about Don Bosco Tech, and gave a brief introduction about the skills training. He also gave a message for the women to create a strong foundation for women's day, women's empowerment, economic independence, self-reliance, family values and gender equality.
Mrs Ajnum Thabbasun spoke about the importance of women's day and gave a message about the values of women empowerment. She shared some real examples of education, self-defence, Confidence, women’s harassment. She also advised the trainees to give respect to women and convinced the trainees to get the benefit of Don Bosco Tech Training. She also motivated the trainees to be independent in their life.
Mrs Geetha Sajjan Shetty motivated the women to be stronger in daily life situations. Mrs Kavitha Patil gave a brief explanation about the importance of skill training and its uses of it in everyday life.
The entire programme was organized by trainees. Finally, the programme ended with a vote of thanks by Mr Shivaraj Kumar (Trainer- Sales Associate).
