On December 20, 2019, a guest lecture was called upon for Electrical trainees at Don Bosco Tech Society, (Asha Deep, Muzaffarpur).  Mr Mayank Kumar (Electrical Junior Engineer-NBPDCL Power House, Muzaffarpur)  was the resource person for the day. He was invited to brief the trainees on Safety Precaution, Transmission, Cables, Insulator, Study of Panels.

As usual, Mr Mayank began the session with a round of introduction. After the introductory round, he started the session with the basics of Electrical. While the session was on he stressed on the ethics and manners that all the trainees need to showcase in the workplace. He focused on safety precautions too. “Safety is the main factor in the Electrical field,” said Mr Mayank by sharing his experience of his company’s colleagues how they met with an accident. He continued saying, “Carelessness makes so many faults in our life.” It seemed like he exhaustively explained about safety before going to another vital topic on ‘major tools of equipments.’

Followings are some of the Safety Precautions as Mr Mayank underlined:

1. Knowledge of safety precautions for Self & Equipment
2. Causes & prevention of shock
3. First aid treatment of the electrocuted person and
4. Use of fire extinguishers.

1. Safety Precaution Of Electrical.
2. Study of Transformer & all Parts.
3. Study of Transmission Line

With these brainstorming new ideas and instructions, the session came to its closure and wished the trainees success in their future endeavours.
