09 Jan 2020
An exposure visit to Maa Greenery Resort was thrilling for the trainees of the Don Bosco Tech Society (Latabari). The trip was made on December 14, 2019, accompanied by Mr. Pravin Thapa (Trainer, F&B).
The trip was easily arranged with the help of the alumni who are presently working there as a Steward. The team set out to venture 9:30 am and reached by 11:00 am.
The name of the resort is Maa Greenery Resort which is situated amid the scenic beauty of a tea garden. To see everywhere it was the green, fresh, peaceful atmosphere, evoke the serenity of our mind and heart.
On arrival, the old students accompanied the trainees to the resort. With the permission of the manager, these trainees were taken around the different departments of the resort. Some of the departments they recall to mind are different rooms; executive, deluxe, and super deluxe rooms. While on tour one of the staff explained the significance of each room, their facilities, and the cost per day. The trainees observed a big hall for multi-purpose.
It was more interesting for the trainees to have visited the restaurant where they met the production department staff who accompanied them to the main kitchen and explained about the different cutleries used for cooking.
- the end, the manager spoke with the students. He was very happy with the visit, he requested us if he could help us in anyways for the betterment of the student. We have lunch in the restaurant and returned to the center. This visit was a useful one our students have gained so much knowledge for their future. This will surely help them to understand their duty also will enhance their performance.
