Batches seven and eight were officially inaugurated on January 28, 2020, in the presence of Mr. Romden Luckson (Cluster Coordinator) was also the chief guest of the occasion.
For the occasion of the inaugural function, the theme was ‘Folk Culture’. The organizers selected different cultural dances; Panjabi, Gujarati, and Rajasthani, and gave practice to the participants. The performers were allowed to choose the group as per their likings before they began to practice. The freedom to choose to dance made them feel at ease with each other and needed less effort to master them.
On the actual day of the event, which started at 11:00 am the entire ceremony began with the cutting of the ribbon by Mr. Luckson, and with the lighting of the lamps, batch seven, and eight officially announced opened. Ms. Anima, the host, kept the audience informed as well as entertained. While witnessing the program each folk dance took the viewers to the land of Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Panjab. It was so fascinating to see each dance choreographed.
At the close of the program, Mr. Lukson told the trainees about how Don Bosco Tech trainees are most sought after by the companies. He requested them the need to cultivate discipline in life.
The program came to its closure with a vote of thanks by Ms. Namrata Thapa.
