A Guest Lecture was organized at Don Bosco Tech on 04 June 2026. The session was conducted by Mr. Koushik Mondal, Captain at Chocolate Inn, West Bengal, who is also a proud alumnus of Don Bosco Tech Bandel.

During the session, Mr. Mondal shared his inspiring professional journey with the students. He spoke about the various struggles, sacrifices, and challenges he faced while building his career in the hospitality industry. He explained how determination, discipline, and continuous learning helped him progress professionally.

Mr. Mondal informed the students that after completing his training through Don Bosco Tech Bandel, he received an opportunity to enter the hospitality sector, which transformed his life and career. He highlighted the importance of utilizing training opportunities effectively and maintaining a positive attitude toward work.

He also shared his work experience in different parts of India, including Mumbai and Kerala, before eventually being promoted to the position of Captain at Chocolate Inn. Through his experiences, he motivated the students to remain focused on their career goals and to be prepared for the challenges of the hospitality industry.

A significant part of the lecture focused on the roles and responsibilities of Guest Service Associates (GSA). Mr. Mondal emphasized the importance of professional etiquette, grooming standards, communication skills, customer service, workplace discipline, and proper manners required in the hospitality sector. He explained how these qualities contribute to personal growth and organizational success.

The session was highly interactive and motivational. Students actively participated, asked questions, and gained valuable insights into career development and professional conduct in the hospitality industry.
