Trainees of   DB BEST Academy hosted Ethnic Day celebration cum Diwali on October 28, 2019 under the guidance of Fr. Rubin Mathew (Director, DB BEST Academy) to celebrate unity in diversity of culture and language.

It was a platform to bring about a simple expression of unity in diversity that holds together the multitudes of outlooks, lifestyles and tradition to reflect the ethnicity of our country. The trainees made the day more colourful, exhibiting unity in diversity, by wearing traditional attire of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil nadu, Andhra Pradesh, UP and Manipur. Girls were dressed in Ghagharas, Lehngas and traditional Sarees and the boys wore lungis, dhothis and even wore jewelled turbans, like those worn by kings in ancient times. DB BEST Academy is a unique place with people from diverse cultures. Over a period of time, our Academy has shown that it’s like a rainbow where different people, from different cultural backgrounds dress up in their traditional outfits and add colours to the Ethnic day. Yes! The ethnic day celebration in DB BEST Academy was a day to remember, just the Jayantian way every student was dressed at his/her best and presented them in an enticing manner. The main message of the celebration was to respect the tradition and recognize the culture of our Country. To give more colour to the program and express the theme of motive for the canter, all the staff members with students lightened and decorated the canter with scintillating earthen lamps.

The celebration started at 2:00 pm with a message from Ms. Lesilen Jose (Trainer retail Management). To begin the event, trainees were divided into 4 groups (Alpha, Beta, Gama, and Omega) and divided the competition in to three like Rangloi competition, Ramp walk to show case the attires and other cultural programs.
