PARENT TEACHER MEETING
The most important part of a student’s journey is “Parent –Teacher Meeting”. A parent teacher conference helps to explain parents the sector their children are indulging in and to give them specific ideas of how to improve upon their child’s performance. This meeting is used to deliver our goals, mission and vision to respected parents so that they can bestow their consensual blessing and gradual encouragement towards their children also with keeping in mind to increase the heartfelt bond between a teacher and a parent. To utilise this important occasion the meeting was organised on 25 th January, 2020 inside the premises of Don Bosco Yuvajyoti. The goal was to do an interactive session with parents about their child’s future. To make these successful exactly 20 numbers of guardians were present on that day.
The meeting began with Mr. Tanmoy Kumar (Communicative English & ITES Trainer) welcomed all the parents. Father Anthony proactively interacted; He explained the parents about placement and the importance of sending away the students for job. He insisted the students to be faithful and sincere in the life using the opportunity in a best possible manner and to come up in life. He shared the history of Don Bosco Society and informed about its achievements. He said,” I take pride at being a family member of Don Bosco Society. I am blessed with these trainers who are working night and day just to deliver success in your children’s plate. All you have to do is just encourage them to feed themselves and take the benefit. We started this journey keeping in mind that everybody cannot afford the expensive higher studies but there should be no potential wasted”. With a huge round of applause father concluded his words of wisdom. After that Mr. Atanu Biswas started explaining real life scenario. He said, “The main problem lies within yourselves that you as a parent sometimes fail to hold strong the sail. You think that you are not as much educated as your child, thus you stop asking what’s happening in his/her life after a certain age. That’s why students also don’t take time to explain you because you didn’t take any interest in the first place”. He urged parents to take interest in their child’s life as it’s a huge leap towards his career and they should know everything and that’s where effective communication comes which is lacking in most of us. He requested parents to stop assuming and start asking questions to their child and start discussing with trainers. After this speech most of the parents felt motivated and actually started asking questions towards us and thus making this day successful. While concluding, Mr. Atanu Biswas expressed the words of gratitude to the parents and the trainees for attending this meeting.
