Starting milestone, the batch orientation classes of ACCENTURE Phase 10 Batch 1 started on 16th September with an energetic group of students altogether waiting for their new future.  Thereafter, we happily initiated our induction program on 16th september with whooping number of students. No need to mention, students loved the idea of activities to indulge into their trueselves and express their own idea of motivation. Though activities and games were just a funny way to teach them moral codes, soft skill values and teamwork. This was a way to let them know they need each other, and there are various ways of communication which doesn’t require verbal interactions. They were to teach to adjust and adapt to challenging environment and rise with smile on their face.

Communication and ITES trainer of Don Bosco Yuvajyoti, Mr. Souvik Mitra believes that a person cannot grow without the help of the people around him. With only targeting to complete his own individual goal, he cannot achieve the peak point however he may have that potential. Humans are social animal, that’s why we built society and we invented language for effective communication.

The first week classes were loosely based on domain knowledge and actively concentrated on bringing out the communicative, leadership and trust-building skills of every student. Students also enjoyed cooperating with Mr. Souvik Mitra and they went with the flow. They played different games like “Chinese Whisper”, ”7up”, “Goal setting” and “Quiz”. Surprisingly the students who were strangers just few days back started to get along. Few student exhibit leadership quality and rest actually agree to listen to them. Without any outside help they started to act like a team and they learnt Goal setting, Perception and Values, Time management, Grooming, Team building, Money management, Importance of communication, Attitude and Self esteem. It was more effective with activities rather than just preaching about them in a closed environment.

Soon after the first week, students’ feedbacks were taken which was impressive.  They paid full attention to the classes and showcase their learning through the chart paper presentation with adequate explanation. In this way they learnt more than just reading books and actually worked towards researching about the sector they are going to make career in. They thanked Don Bosco Yuvajyoti for such an opportunity.
