As part of its commitment to bridging classroom learning with real-world industry exposure, the Assistant Beauty Therapist trainees of DBTech Training Centre embarked on an industrial visit to Everyoung Saloon and Spa, located in Rongkhelan, Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Assam (782460) on 10 February 2026. The visit brought together 15 enthusiastic trainees, accompanied by Sir Dilip Kerketta and Sir William Horo, under the guidance of the Centre In-Charge Sr. Sheeja and Sr. Sipsa.

The visit unfolded as a dynamic learning experience that immersed students in the vibrant environment of a professional salon and spa. From the moment they stepped inside, the trainees observed the seamless coordination between reception, consultation, service delivery, and client care—an ecosystem that reflects both technical expertise and interpersonal skill.

Ms. Mirmili Hansepi, the receptionist, warmly welcomed the group and offered an insightful orientation on front-desk management, appointment scheduling, client communication, and the importance of maintaining professional etiquette. Her interaction highlighted how the reception area serves as the first point of trust-building in any service-oriented enterprise.

The in-house beautician provided detailed demonstrations and explanations of various beauty products, their appropriate applications, and the scientific reasoning behind different treatments. Students were introduced to skin analysis techniques, hygiene protocols, equipment handling, and customized treatment planning. Particular emphasis was placed on understanding client needs, recommending suitable services, and maintaining transparency regarding treatment procedures and pricing. The trainees also gained practical insight into cost structures, service packages, and the business aspects of running a successful salon and spa.

Beyond technical knowledge, the visit underscored essential professional values such as discipline, time management, customer satisfaction, teamwork, and maintaining industry standards of cleanliness and safety. The trainees witnessed firsthand how creativity, confidence, and communication combine to create memorable client experiences.

This industrial exposure proved to be more than a field visit; it became a transformative learning journey. The experience strengthened the trainees’ confidence, broadened their understanding of the beauty and wellness industry, and inspired them to pursue excellence in their chosen profession. It reinforced DBTech Training Centre’s vision of skill development that is practical, relevant, and aligned with market demands.

The visit to Everyoung Saloon and Spa has left a lasting impression on the trainees, motivating them to refine their skills, uphold professionalism, and strive toward becoming competent and compassionate beauty therapists. Such initiatives continue to reflect the mission of Don Bosco Tech Society in empowering young individuals with industry-ready skills and a strong foundation for meaningful employment.
