The World Youth Skills Day celebration was organized at Diphu Don Bosco Tech training centre with great enthusiasm to highlight the importance of skill development and empower young people for a better future.

The program began with a prayer, followed by a prayer song, creating a positive and peaceful atmosphere for the event.

After the opening ceremony, one of the trainees delivered an introduction to World Youth Skills Day, explaining its significance in promoting technical, vocational, and life skills among youth. This was followed by a presentation from the trainees on the importance of skills and an introduction to the Skill India Mission, emphasizing the government's initiative to equip young people with industry-relevant skills and enhance their employability.

The Centre In-charge then addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech on the importance of skill development. The speech highlighted how practical skills, dedication, and continuous learning play a vital role in personal growth, career success, and nation-building.

To make the celebration more engaging, a practical competition was conducted for the trainees of both domains—Assistant Beauty Therapist and Guest Service Associate. The competition provided participants with an opportunity to demonstrate their practical knowledge, confidence, and professional skills.

A debate competition was also organized on the topic, "Skills Are More Important Than Marks." The trainees actively participated and presented thoughtful arguments from both perspectives, making the session informative and interactive.

The celebration concluded successfully, encouraging all trainees to recognize the value of acquiring practical skills alongside academic knowledge. The event inspired everyone to continue learning, developing their abilities, and contributing positively to society.
