An industrial visit was organized on 06 August 2026 for the Assistant Beauty Therapist trainees to Elemtia Wellness Private Limited Academy, Dimapur, with the objective of providing them with practical exposure to the professional beauty, spa and wellness industry. The visit offered the trainees an opportunity to step beyond the classroom and gain first-hand insight into the functioning of a professional wellness establishment.

During the visit,Ms. Regina, Assistant Manager, interacted with the trainees and explained various aspects of spa and wellness services. She familiarized them with the procedures, techniques, hygiene standards and professional practices followed in the industry. She also highlighted the importance of maintaining cleanliness, personal grooming, client care, discipline and professional conduct while providing beauty and wellness services.

The trainees were given practical demonstrations of different beauty and Spa-related services and procedures. They observed the demonstrations closely and were encouraged to understand the correct techniques and sequence of performing various services. The practical exposure helped them relate their theoretical learning with actual workplace practices and gave them a clearer understanding of the expectations of employers in the beauty and wellness sector.

The interaction with the experienced professional was particularly beneficial for the trainees, as they were able to learn about the day-to-day responsibilities of beauty and wellness professionals, client handling and the importance of delivering quality services. The visit also helped them understand the professional environment of a wellness centre and the career opportunities available to trained Assistant Beauty Therapists.
