An industrial visit to Hampi Hotel, Barla, Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Assam was conducted on 27th July 2026 for the trainees of Batch Code: B6-250475. The main objective of the visit was to provide practical exposure to the hospitality industry and to help the trainees understand the day-to-day operations of a professional hotel. A total of 22 trainees accompanied by 3 staff members participated in the visit.

Upon arrival, the trainees and staff members were warmly welcomed by the management and employees of Hampi Hotel. The hotel staff gave an introduction to the organisation and explained the overall functioning of the hotel, including the roles and responsibilities of different departments. They also explained the importance of customer service and demonstrated the proper way to welcome and interact with guests, emphasising professionalism, courtesy, and effective communication.

During the visit, the trainees were taken through the housekeeping department, where the staff demonstrated the correct bed-making process and explained the standards of cleanliness and room preparation followed in the hotel. The food and beverage service team also demonstrated the proper methods of serving guests, highlighting the importance of hygiene, presentation, and service etiquette. The trainees observed the practical aspects of hotel operations and had the opportunity to interact with experienced professionals, making the visit highly informative and engaging.

The industrial visit provided valuable practical exposure and helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world hospitality practices. The trainees gained a better understanding of hotel management, housekeeping procedures, front office operations, and food and beverage service. The welcoming attitude and willingness of the Hampi Hotel staff to share their knowledge made the experience both enjoyable and educational.

At the end of the visit, one of the trainees delivered a vote of thanks on behalf of the entire group. The trainee expressed sincere gratitude to the management and staff of Hampi Hotel for their warm hospitality, valuable guidance, and dedicated efforts in making the industrial visit successful.
