Don Bosco Tech (Gagillapuram) organized study cum exposure tour to Ujwala Grand (Gandimysamma, Jeedimetla, Andhra Pradesh) for the trainees of Hospitality domain on July 11, 2019.

Mr. Anil Kumar (F & B Manager, Ujwala Grand) welcomed all the trainees at the hotel. The alumni of Don Bosco Tech, Mr. Anil Kumar and Mr. Prem Kumar interacted with the trainees at the beginning of the exposure visit. Then, Mr. Anil Kumar introduced Mr. Abdul Malik (General Manager, Ujwala Grand) to the trainees, who worked in Dubai for 15 years as he was well experienced about the hotel industry. He explained about the grooming quality of service and explained about all the departments and how to gain the knowledge and experience and suggested all trainees to learn more from the exposure.

Then Mr. Anil invited all trainees to front office section, explained their work and the importance of it in any organization. Later, he explained the students about restaurant set up like- setting the table, receiving the guest and leading guest to the table, table clearing, restaurant buffet set up, Ala-carte system, professionalism, software system, presentation of the bill etc.

Mr. Anil Kumar also briefed about F&B Production and Housekeeping departments. To motivate the trainees, Mr. Anil Kumar said, “It took me three years to get into this position. There are no shortcuts for success in life. So make use of every opportunity then only you can fulfill your dreams in life.”

At the end of the exposure visit, all trainees felt motivated and thanked the management and especially Don Bosco Tech organizing such a meaningful exposure for their growth in hotel management as steward. The exposure tour winded up with group photo.
