The First guest lecturer session for Graphic Designer job role was successfully organized at Don Bosco Tech Sambalpur Center on “Types of Graphics Designing, scopes & opportunity for designer” on July 07, 2022 for the trainees of batch – 1 of Accenture - 12. Mr. Harryson Mishra, from Hyper Pixels Media (HPM) was invited as the Guest Lecturer.
The guest lecture began with welcome address by the domain trainer Mr. Anjan Pattnaik. He introduced and welcomed Mr. Harryson Mishra to deliver the lecture.
Mr. Mishra briefed the trainees on different aspect of Graphics Designing. He expanded his session by explaining various parts of graphics design such as 2D & 3D designs, Banners/Posters designs, Logo designing and digital painting or Matte Painting. He encouraged the trainees by giving the advantages of being a Graphics Designer in today’s world, by explaining the production industry/ market availability. He emphasized the trainees about the importance of job opportunities and its value addition to a family in terms of financial supports. Now a day’s graphic and visual communication design is everywhere. From websites, signages, illustrated books, brandings to packaging, every aspect of one's life is some way or the other influenced by graphics. With the rise in demand for graphic designers, there is a plethora of job opportunities for graphic designer students; you will be able to work the job profiles one can pursue after their graphic design course, such as Communication Designer, Graphic Designer, Web Designers, and Design Entrepreneur etc.
In the subsequent part of the session, trainees interacted with keen interest and raised questions about how to make career in the field of graphics productions. Mr. Mishra also gave few tips on how to manage raw graphics materials according to client’s requirements. Students were very enthusiastic and energetic throughout the session. Mr. Mishra was very happy by the participation and interest shown by the participants in the program.
Mr. Mishra summed up the session by answering queries and deliberating on the enormous scope for designers and artists leading to a decent livelihood for a young creative/innovative personal. The session ended with a heartily thanks to Mr. Mishra by support domain trainer Mr. Sarada Prasad Nanda in appreciation for taking the time out to educate the trainees.
