On August 8, 2024, Don Bosco Tech Sambalpur organized an eye-opening exposure visit to A.B. Mushroom Farm in Bangali Pada, Sambalpur, offering our Mushroom Grower trainees from Batch 01 of the Skill to Succeed program an immersive experience that will undoubtedly shape their future careers.

Led by the dynamic Mr. Dillip Kumar Behera, our trainees embarked on a journey into the fascinating world of mushroom cultivation. Under the expert guidance of Mr. Santi Prakesh Pradhan, the respected owner of A.B. Mushroom Farm, they were introduced to the intricate processes that define successful mushroom growing.

The visit was a deep dive into the art and science of mushroom cultivation. Trainees learned about various bed preparation methods, the critical role of rice straw, and the importance of selecting the ideal growing environment.
