a bid to provide valuable industrial exposure to our Domestic Data Entry Operator (DEO) students, Don Bosco Tech Society organized a significant industrial visit to Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India in Ongole on August 23, 2023.

The visit aimed to enhance the understanding of DEO students regarding their duties and responsibilities in a real-world setting. Ms. Krishnaveeni, the Human Resource Manager at the factory, commenced the session by providing a comprehensive overview of the company. Students gained insights into the company's history, production capacity, marketing processes, market share, work culture, corporate social responsibility initiatives, and future expansion plans.

Following the informative session, students were divided into three groups and guided through the production area. Witnessing the transformation of raw materials into the final product proved to be a captivating experience for them. The assembly line tour allowed students to observe the practical application of management principles within the organization. They gained firsthand knowledge about the production processes, witnessed various facets of a business organization, and grasped the significance of teamwork in achieving operational efficiency.

This industrial visit not only broadened the horizons of our DEO students but also reinforced the practical aspects of their skill training. Such experiences are integral to our mission at Don Bosco Tech Society, where we are committed to providing comprehensive and enriching skill training opportunities to empower disadvantaged youth.
