Mr. Ramesh (HR Manager, Hotel Central Park) welcomed all the trainees and took them to show different sections in the hotel. At first, he took all the trainees to the front office, where he explained to them about the front office and its work. There he demonstrated to the trainees about grooming and its importance in the hotel industry. Later, he took all the students to the kitchen department where everything was divided into separate sections to prepare food for the guests staying or eating at the hotel.
Then the trainee went to the second floor in F&B Service section, where they saw that people working there are well groomed. He explained to them the various serving spoon and the ways to serve food. They also taught them about different ways to arrange the table, plates and spoons. Then Mr. Ramesh briefed the trainees about the various outlets in the hotel industry and types of restaurants.
By sharing his experience, Mr. Ramesh said, “When I was training for hotel management, I spent lot of money to complete the course but you are really blessed since you are being trained by Don Bosco Tech. I heard about Don Bosco Tech when I was at Vijayawada. Don Bosco Tech is really providing such useful courses to the unemployed people. I wish you all good and better future in the hotel industry.”
At the end of the session, all the trainees expressed their deep gratitude to the manager and they felt really good after gaining so much knowledge apart from books. The exposure tour winded up with the group photo and trainees went back to Don Bosco Tech (Ongole).
