DB Tech -JVS Palda organized exposure visit to NSTI (W), (National Skills Training Institute for Women) Indore on 28 July 2022.

About the institute:

National Skill Training Institute for Women, Indore is imparting Vocational Training with skills as required by the Local Industry and providing need-based training to trainees to become Entrepreneurs. National Skill Training Institute comes under the Government of India, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, and Women’s Training cell under Directorate General of Training. This premier institute for women facilitates regular long term training courses and short term training programmes in various disciplines. Long term courses are conducted in levels, such as Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS), Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) and recently started Advanced Diploma in IT, Networking and Cloud course. IT, Networking and Cloud courses are essential in the current scenario due to a lot of demand in software industries where every industry uses the cloud as a base.

The trainees visited the institute at 11:30 am. The trainees were divided into four groups according to domain. the staffs over there guided the trainees and explained them about their respective departments and its activities.

They visited different departments related to their domain. The trainees of OA Domain visited computer department in which they saw how the web design is done.

The trainees of SMO domain visited tailoring department. The trainees saw how different designing is done in computer by students and cloths are stitched.

The trainees of ABT visited beautician department. They saw the different set up of beauty parlor and salon. They saw the advanced equipment and facilities.

The trainees of EDS visited the IT department in which the staff over there explained how the traffic lights and street lights are controlled.

The exposure visit was well organized and trainees learnt a lot from the visit. There was good support and cooperation from the management part.
