On 15 February 2026, as part of the 20-year celebration of Don Bosco Tech Society, the JVS Palda center organized an impactful outreach initiative titled Community Fitness and Awareness Day. The program reflected a thoughtful blend of health consciousness and skill development, reinforcing the institution’s vision of nurturing well-rounded and empowered individuals.

The initiative extended into nearby slum areas and schools, where trainers and staff engaged directly with youth, students, and members of the community. Through interactive and informative sessions, participants were introduced to the importance of skill-based education, employment opportunities, and continuous personal growth. The outreach emphasized how vocational training can serve as a strong foundation for building sustainable and meaningful careers.

Alongside awareness on skills and employability, the program also highlighted the significance of physical fitness and healthy living. Participants were encouraged to adopt simple yet effective lifestyle practices that contribute to overall well-being, helping them understand that personal health and professional growth go hand in hand.

The team actively interacted with parents and young individuals, addressing their questions and guiding them toward available training opportunities. These meaningful conversations helped build trust and awareness, motivating many to consider skill development as a pathway toward a better future. The sessions were designed to be engaging and relatable, ensuring that the message reached every participant effectively.

The response from the community was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing interest in enrolling in training programs offered by Don Bosco Tech Society. The initiative not only spread awareness but also strengthened the bond between the center and the community, creating a sense of connection and shared purpose.

The Community Fitness and Awareness Day stood as a significant and purposeful activity within the 20-year celebrations. It went beyond a single-day event, leaving a lasting impact by inspiring healthier lifestyles, encouraging skill development, and fostering hope for a brighter and more self-reliant future.
