Don Bosco Tech (Palda, Indore) organized the inaugural function of the 8th batch on December 20, 2019. It was indeed a successful program which witnessed 250 participants. Trainees spent around a week, preparing for this wonderful event under the supervision of Fr. Shinoj (Asst. Director, Jan Vikas Society, Indore). The Program started at 11 am by the trainees. The chief guest was Fr. Clement Khess (Procurator, Catholic Ashram, Palda). The other dignitaries were Mr. Sadanand Singh (Placement Coordinator, Madhya Pradesh) and Fr. Roy Thomas (Director, JanVikas Society, Indore) also present for the occasion. The Program began with a welcoming the guests by the Students. The chief guest inaugurated the new batch with the lighting of the lamp.

Post inaugural ceremony, the trainees staged various programs like dances, an act, songs on themes based on the problems of present society. The students of the present batch are very creative and seen to be talented. The program was enticing and it garnered appreciation by the dignitaries as well as parents who accompanied the Trainees.

During the speech, Fr. Roy motivated the students to pursue their learning seriously to be employable tomorrow. To their parents, he encouraged sending their students regularly in order to make their children’s future secure. “It is a great opportunity to make your lives better. He added, Don Bosco Tech in collaboration with Janvikas Society will help you come up in your lives,” said Fr. Clement. Mr. Sadanand, in a brief note, explained Don Bosco Tech and its intervention. He added, “Even if no one pats on your back, do it yourself and go ahead in your career building.”

The program ended with a vote of thanks, by Mr. Alok (Trainer, ITES) which followed the distribution of refreshments to all present for the program. There were a number of parents who came to encourage their children.

It was indeed a great day with a wonderful cultural program.
