The Domain guest lecture was held on 06 September 2022 for Organic Growers domain trainees. The guest lecturer for the day was Mr. Bhumij, he was a self-taught organic farmer who practiced organic farming in the village. The trainer encouraged the students to learn and gain ideas by active participation.

Mr. Bhumij first spoke on the importance of Organic Cultivation in Rural India. In his speech, he stressed how to involve oneself in self-employment for generating income from organic farming. He shared about taking care of the soil and seed preservation without chemical treatment. In the process, he also highlighted the importance of how to plant seedlings and locally available organic manures for healthy crops.

Mr. Bhumij’s clarion call for the day was 'willingness and hard work.'

Mr. Bhumij expressed his experience of how he, being a simple farmer, became one of the leading farmers in the locality. He suggested some tips like analyzing the market, consumer demand, and fixing the price of the products to compete in the market.

In the conclusion, he expressed his simple story of struggle and the methods he applied in order to overcome it.

The trainees were excited and got lots of encouragement and motivation. Towards the end, one of the trainees' Mrs. Milina Kindo thanked Mr. Bhumij for his interactive session.
