As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign themed “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath,” Don Bosco Tech Society, under the Housekeeping Department of Nirmali Society of Christ, Mawkasiang, organized a cleanliness drive on 29th September 2025. The initiative, led by trainers Dawiat Rynjah and Raymond Sutnga, aimed to promote civic responsibility and the dignity of labour among trainees.
A total of 31 participants, including 23 trainees and 8 staff members, took part enthusiastically in the drive. The program began with the Swachhata Pledge, reaffirming the participants’ commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
The activities included sweeping and mopping classrooms and labs, dusting furniture, cleaning windows and notice boards, and clearing overgrowth around the campus. The collective effort transformed the surroundings and fostered a spirit of teamwork and community service.
Participants expressed pride in contributing to a national cause, while trainers observed a growing sense of responsibility and discipline among the trainees. The campaign concluded successfully, echoing Don Bosco Tech Society’s mission of nurturing not only skilled but also socially responsible youth.
