The orientation programme for the Housekeeping Assistant Training was successfully held at the Don Bosco Tech Mawkasiang Centre to acquaint newly enrolled trainees with the course, its objectives, and future opportunities. The event was smoothly conducted with the support of student MCs.
The programme opened with a prayer by Sister Remo, Centre Head, followed by a welcome address from Sir Wallam, State Executive (MIS), who highlighted DB Tech’s mission and encouraged the trainees to remain disciplined and focused. Miss Rhiedolcy then delivered a motivating talk, guiding students on facing challenges with confidence and determination.
A key highlight was the address by alumna Miss Naphisabet Khonjee, now a Food and Beverage Associate at JW Marriott, who shared her professional journey and inspired trainees to value perseverance and hard work. Adding a cultural touch, students from Batch 2 and 3 presented a song.
The programme concluded with encouraging remarks by Miss Geraldine and closed on a cheerful note with light refreshments for all participants.
